Making the Township work for you

Transparency is not a slogan. It is a published budget in plain English, every question answered on the record, and a serious look at sharing services with Port Colborne.

What I will do

  • Budget in plain English. A one-page "where your tax dollar goes" published every year, sourced to the budget.
  • Every question answered. Resident questions answered publicly on this site during the campaign and, if elected, on a councillor page afterward.
  • Shared services review. Port Colborne runs full-time fire, roads and planning departments ten minutes away. A formal review of what Wainfleet could share rather than duplicate.
  • Benchmark annually. Wainfleet against West Lincoln, Pelham and two comparable Ontario townships, by function, tabled at Council.
  • Budget what was spent. Positions vacant for part of a year should not be re-budgeted at full cost plus a raise without explanation.

Why me

I teach executive reporting and AI dashboards at McMaster's DeGroote School of Business and I have spent 25 years turning client data into decisions. This is the job.
